If you’re regularly in the City Of Atlanta, you’re probably more than aware of the Atlanta Apartment frenzy that has emerged on the heels of the Great Recession. Unless you have 20/200 vision (aka legally blind) or walk around with an eye mask, it’s evident that apartment units are being crammed in every nook and cranny developers can obtain. To feel what I’m getting at here, let these numbers sink in for a second. In the first quarter of 2014, more than 16,500 apartment units were proposed to be built across Atlanta. Of that number, 8,200 units have completed construction leaving nearly 8,400 units still in the pipeline. At this point in time, it is safe to say Georgia’s economy is growing at a steady rate. Therefore most would bet on this bold number of unit completions becoming a reality.
