Starting in the 1980’s, many artists and influential residents poured into Cabbagetown revitalizing the area and initially setting the stage for its famous street art that encompasses the neighborhood. Artist Panorama Ray operated a photo gallery on Carroll Street which became incredibly popular and brought art enthusiasts from all over the city. To accommodate this surge of people into the area, restaurants and other shops starting popping up and eventually created a community pocket and a popular neighborhood gathering spot. The 174 Carroll Street office sits right in that pocket, and has a display setting of a simple cozy home.
